Terms & Conditions
The following document sets forth the Terms & Conditions for the Nathan Cassar: Master of Ceremonies website, https://www.nathancassar.com.au.
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern bookings for Master of Ceremonies services provided by Nathan Cassar (“we,” “us,” “our”) to clients (“you,” “the Client”). By submitting an enquiry, signing a booking agreement, or paying a retainer, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking and Confirmation
A date is provisionally held following initial enquiry but is not confirmed or guaranteed until both of the following are received:
- A signed booking agreement, and
- Payment of a 25% non-refundable retainer (calculated on the total quoted fee)
Until both items are received, we reserve the right to accept other bookings for the same date. We’ll confirm in writing once your booking is secured.
2. Fees and Payment
The total fee for services will be set out in your booking agreement or quote. The 25% retainer paid at booking is deducted from the total fee owing. The remaining balance is due in full no later than 14 days before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payment may affect our ability to confirm attendance. We reserve the right to decline to perform services if the outstanding balance has not been received by the event date.
3. Cancellation by the Client
The 25% retainer is non-refundable under all circumstances, as it secures your date and reflects time held exclusively for your event.
If you need to cancel the booking entirely, the following applies to any additional amounts already paid:
- More than 90 days before the event: no further payment is owed beyond the retainer already paid.
- 30–90 days before the event: 50% of the total fee is payable (less the retainer already paid).
- Less than 30 days before the event: the full fee is payable.
4. Postponement
We understand that event dates sometimes need to change. If you need to postpone:
- One postponement to an agreed new date is accommodated at no additional charge, subject to availability, provided at least 30 days’ notice is given.
- The retainer and any balance already paid carry over to the new date.
- Postponements requested within 30 days of the event, or a second postponement, will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking under Clause
